This policy explains what Zyn Player (zynplayer.com) collects when you use the app, visit this website, sign in to manage your playlists, contact us or order a licence, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

1. Who is responsible

Zyn Player is responsible for the data described here. You can reach us on WhatsApp from our contact page.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to sell and support Zyn Player licences.

What you give us

• your WhatsApp number and your messages (orders, setup help, questions);
• your name, if you share it;
• your order details (plan, length, number of devices);
• your device type, so we can tell you how to install the app;
• the MAC address shown in the app, so we can activate your device.

You never need to send us your IPTV provider's password to order a licence. If you choose to share playlist details to get setup help, we use them only to help you, and you can ask us to delete those messages.

What the app sends to our activation server

• the device's MAC address (an ID the app derives for this app on your device) and a device secret;
• the app version and the device model;
• your IP address, used to limit free trials per network;
• the playlists you add in the app.

The app doesn't send us what you watch: favourites, history and resume points stay on your device.

When you sign in to manage your playlists

You sign in on this website with the MAC address and the device key shown in the app. The playlists you add, edit or delete there (name, address, username, password and an optional 4-digit lock PIN) are stored on our activation server and sent only to your device, so the app can play them. Playlist passwords are stored encrypted; device keys and PINs are stored only as one-way hashes, never in readable form.

What is collected automatically

• the hosting server's technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested), used to keep the website secure.

This website uses no analytics tools and no advertising or tracking cookies. Its fonts are served from this website, not from a third party.

3. Why we use it

• to process your order and activate your device;
• to sign you in and keep your playlists available to your device;
• to send install instructions and help you set up;
• to handle payment;
• to protect the website and the licences against abuse and fraud.

We never sell your data.

4. Legal basis

• performing our contract with you (your licence);
• our legitimate interest (security of the website and the licences);
• your consent, when you message us on your own initiative.

5. Who we share it with

Only with the technical providers we need (website hosting, messaging, payment), and only as far as their job requires. Never with advertisers or resellers. Messages on WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

6. Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in; it is removed when you sign out or when it expires. You can manage cookies in your browser settings at any time.

7. Security

The website is served over HTTPS, and access to order data is limited to the people who handle orders and support.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your licence is active, then for up to 12 months after your last message to us, and then delete it. Playlists stay stored until you delete them or ask us to delete your device. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, to object to its use, and to withdraw your consent. To use these rights, message us on WhatsApp. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
